Bernt Reitan Jenssen is the CEO of Ruter AS, the public transport authority for Oslo and Akershus—a role he has held since the company’s inception in 2008. Previously he held senior executive roles at Posten/Bring and led Oslo Sporveier ahead of Ruter’s formation; he has also served as chair of the Employers’ Association Spekter. His work focuses on customer-centric, digitally enabled and zero-emission public transport, and he is a frequent speaker in international transit forums.
