Kristin Fjellheim

Kristin Fjellheim is Head of Research at SINTEF, where she leads work on environment and sustainability in the building and construction sector. With a background as Energy Lead at Avinor, responsible for energy efficiency across Norway’s airports, and as a researcher in environmental management at the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI), she brings deep expertise in translating sustainability goals into practical solutions. Fjellheim has extensive project management experience, both as a client and in research collaborations, and currently works on projects focused on zero-emission and zero-waste construction sites, material reuse, and the development of zero-emission neighbourhoods.
